Living as a lone wolf is not easy. Kezhda is a strong hunter, but is not as successful without a pack. Deer and rabbits bound away from him before he can reach them, and over time he grows weak and scrawny. One day, a Vah Shir man approaches him. The man kneels down and hesitantly offers some jerky to Kezhda. Kezhda accepts the meal, and thus begins their bond.
