Beetle Eye Jam: A breakfast favorite. Procure at least ten beetle eyes and mash together with a handful of sugar. In a pan, heat over the fire until bubbling and sticky. Slather on top of bread. The eyes bring a zesty, citrus flavor to the jam. Sometimes it appears that the jam is looking back at you. Simply mash more.
