My goblin's eyes are nothing like the sun;
Grass is far more green than her skin's green;
If worgs be heavy, then she weighs a tonne;
If water is pure, then she be not clean.
I have seen rabbits, gray and white, with softest fur,
But no such softness does her heart hold;
Her pinched and surly face does deter
Conversation from even the most bold.
I love to watch her move, yet well I know
That bears are more graceful than she;
Even as they plod through the snow;
My goblin's looks make the bravest flee.
And yet, by Rallos Zek, I think my love true;
I want not to be with anyone but my goblin shrew.
